What makes the Suzuki Fronx Sports Edition special?

The newly launched Fronx Sports Edition packs a host of cosmetic changes in Malaysia. The first is the addition of a sporty piano black grille, which is complemented by the dark chrome bar that replaces the chrome bar, and so does the black Suzuki logo.
Additionally, the lower part of the bumper has been updated with a splitter that has been painted in black colour. Moving to the side, the biggest update that you will notice on the Sports Edition is the new 17-inch black-coloured sporty alloy wheels and the new black side skirts.

Suzuki has also painted the roof and the rear view mirrors in black colour to match the overall aesthetics. On the other hand, doors feature the ‘Fronx Sport’ decals that use the black colour graphics as a base and feature red and white highlights.
The rear design has been elevated by the use of a roof-integrated spoiler, which has also been painted in black colour. Meanwhile, the lower part of the rear bumper now features an integrated splitter, which increases the downforce and reduces the drag on the car.
On the other hand, the cabin layout and features have not been touched. The only feature addition is the 4K dashcam which is now present on the front and rear windshields for safety.

Powering the Fronx Sports Edition is the same 1.5-litre K15C four-cylinder petrol engine that we get in the Middle East. It makes 103 bhp and 138 Nm, and it is paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Suzuki has no intentions to bring the Fronx Sports Edition to the Middle East. Albeit, the brand is working on a new Fronx facelift, which is expected to arrive next year in the global market. The Fronx facelift is also likely to bring with it a new range-extender hybrid engine option.
The Fronx Sports Edition has been priced at RM130,888 in Malaysia, which equates to an approximate AED 118,888 in the UAE (as per today's exchange rate).
Cars24 UAE says
The new Fronx Sports Edition offers a little makeover for buyers who want their cars to stand apart from the crowd. The visual additions and the bigger alloys make it sportier than before.
