Suzuki Jimny Art Edition details explained
The latest entrant from Suzuki’s stable in the UAE is the Jimny 5-Door and the 3-Door custom vehicles. Suzuki is calling it the Art Edition Jimny, and the cute little SUV is now available with multiple customisation options.
To begin with, the Art Edition Jimny is available in new custom exterior paint shades that include matte and gloss finishes. Customers can imagine their individual Jimny’s and order the custom paint job.
To match the custom exterior paint schemes, the Art Edition also gets the gloss black or satin finish alloy wheels. Additionally, the brake callipers can be opted for with the yellow, black, or any custom paint that is heat-resistant.
Moreover, the Art Edition Jimny gets the carbon fibre finished ORVMs and the new glossy carbon fibre grille along with the ‘Art Edition’ lettering on the tail gate and the fenders. The Art Edition model also gets a plastic spare wheel cover with the custom paint and the badging.
On the inside, customers can opt for a full leather cabin treatment in six custom themes or colours. The new custom theme is applied on the dashboard, door panels, centre console, and even on the headline, which is now leather and has starlighting made out of the optic fibre.
Engine specs
The Art Edition for the Jimny does not bring any mechanical changes. It continues to be powered by the 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine (103 bhp/134 Nm) that is paired with a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic gearbox option. It gets a 4WD drivetrain as standard.
Safety features
Suzuki remains adamant to offer the best safety features on its cars. The Jimny Art Edition gets standard six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, Hill Hold Assist, Hill Descent Assist, and rear parking sensors as standard in the UAE.
