Smart #5 price, variants, and availability in the UAE
The all-new #5 electric SUV is now available across the UAE in four variants, which are priced as follows:
- Smart #5 Pro - AED 159,900
- Smart #5 Premium - AED 199,900
- Smart #5 Dune - AED 209,900
- Smart #5 BRABUS - AED 219,900
The new #5 EV will be sold via Al Rostamani Group as the official dealership for Smart.
Smart #5: Exterior design
The #5 EV features a simple yet futuristic design language. Designed by Mercedes-Benz engineers, it features a boxy shape and smooth, chiselled body panels, offering less coefficient of drag and improved efficiency.
The key design highlights of the new electric SUV include the CyberSparks LED headlights, 20-inch aerodynamic wheels with floating wheel caps, retractable door handles, connected LED taillights, functional roof rails, and a 72-litre front trunk.
While the lower variants offer a simple design, the Dune variants add body cladding and raised suspension for off-roading, and the BRABUS variant features sporty highlights, including the 21-inch monoblock race wheels, red brake calipers, and more.
Smart #5: Interiors and features
The simple yet upmarket design is also followed on the inside as it gets the unique dashboard with a full-width entertainment screen setup, and an articulation index of 86.5%, which reduces the NVH levels and increases the comfort quotient.
The #5 EV is a 5-seater electric SUV that gets split rear seats, which offer a cargo space of 630 litres, which is expandable up to 1,360 litres. It is a hi-tech modern EV equipped with the following features:

What are the battery specs of the Smart #5?
The lower-spec variants of the Smart #5 are equipped with a 100kWh battery pack that is offered with a single RWD motor, while an AWD dual-motor setup is optional. The e-SUV is based on a 400V architecture, offering rapid charging of 10-80% in 18 minutes.
The RWD variants develop 390 bhp and 373 Nm, while offering a WLTP-claimed range of up to 590 km. With this setup, it can sprint 0-100 km/h in 6.5 seconds.
Meanwhile, the BRABUS variant features an AWD dual-motor setup, which develops 636 bhp and 710 Nm. It can sprint 0-100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.
