2025 Ford Expedition: Trims explained

The new Expedition SUV is now available across the UAE in four trims: Expedition Active, Platinum, Stealth, and Tremor.

As the name suggests, the Expedition Active and Tremor variants have been specially designed for off-roading, as these get equipped with rugged body claddings, smaller wheel size with all-terrain tyres, more ground clearance, and more.

Meanwhile, the Platinum trim is made for luxury-centric buyers as it is loaded with first-in-class comfort and luxury features.

The Stealth variant has been crafted for performance-centric buyers, as it gets a higher state of tune of the engine, blacked-out design, and sporty interiors.

2025 Ford Expedition: Design, interiors, and features

Ford has completely redesigned the Expedition, giving it a new outlook and a refreshing road appeal. 

The front now gets a new grille, new LED headlights, and a new bumper. Similarly, the side profile has now been updated with the new alloy wheels with different profiles as per the trim.

The rear profile is loaded with a redesigned bumper and updated LED taillights.

On the inside, the new Expedition gets a redesigned cabin with various leather layout combinations depending on the trim.

Unlike the new-gen SUVs, it gets separate screens, one for the infotainment, and the other for the speedometer console and navigation display.

2025 Ford Expedition: Engine specifications

Powering the new Expedition is the tried and tested 3.5-litre, Ecoboost V6 turbo-petrol engine, which develops 400 bhp and 651 Nm of peak power and torque.

There is a higher state of tune version available as well, which makes 440 bhp and 691 Nm of peak power and torque. 

Both of these engines are mated to a new 10-speed automatic gearbox, offering increased fuel economy and better performance.

2025 Ford Expedition: UAE price and rivals

The pricing of the new Expedition SUV has not been revealed yet. We are expecting it to be priced around AED 285,000 to AED 340,000.
