Everything to know about the 2027 Hyundai Accent facelift

The all-new Hyundai Accent facelift has been launched in India. The new Accent sedan has undergone a host of cosmetic changes, which make it more premium and upmarket than before.

Exterior updates

On the outside, the new Accent features a redesigned piano black grille, a new sporty bumper, and a set of new dual-projector LED headlights. Meanwhile, the side profile now gets the new diamond-cut R16 alloy wheels, while the rear design now features an updated bumper with silver highlights.

Hyundai has also added two new exterior colour options to the Accent facelift: Classy Blue and Titan Grey Matte.

Interior updates

On the inside, Hyundai has updated the dashboard with a new 10.25-inch dual-connected screen display, a new digital driver console with updated user interface, and a new three-spoke steering wheel.

While the space remains unchanged, the cabin features an updated dual-tone leather upholstery. The new Accent offers 528 litres of cargo space.

Feature upgrades

In terms of features, Hyundai has added a host of equipment that makes the new Accent safer and smarter than before. These include the following:

• 8-way powered driver seat with memory function
• 4-way powered front passenger seat
• Electric Boss Mode
• Ventilation and heating on the front seats
• 8-speaker Bose sound system
• 7 airbags
• Dash camera
• 360-degree camera

Engine specs of the 2027 Hyundai Accent facelift

Mechanically, the new Accent is unaltered. It continues to be powered by the 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that makes 115 bhp and 144 Nm of power and torque. It is paired to a CVT automatic transmission.

Hyundai also offers a 1.5-litre TGDI turbo petrol engine in the global market. This engine makes 160 bhp and 253 Nm of power and torque.

When will it launch in the UAE?

The new 2027 Hyundai Accent facelift is expected to launch in the UAE later this year. The Accent is a popular car in the Middle East due to its comfort and smooth driving experience.

The new Accent will compete with the Toyota Corolla and the Nissan Sunny in the UAE. It is priced approximately at AED 43,718 (as of March 9, 2026) in India.
