2025 Kia K4 hatchback - Design

The new K4 hatchback was recently launched at the New York Motor Show 2025. It shares its underpinnings with the K4 sedan, but the rear quarter design and cabin space are different.

Speaking of the design first, it features a seamless front fascia with a big wide grille and vertical LED headlamps, which are connected via an LED lightbar.

Additionally, the long bonnet and the side profile use chiselled panels for aerodynamic stability and a smooth outlook.

The K4 hatchback is available with different alloy wheel options, including rim sizes from 16 inches to 18 inches, depending on the variant chosen.

Kia is offering the K4 hacthback in three variants: EX, GT-Line, and GT-Line Turbo.

The rear design of the K4 hatchback features a big boot space of 628 litres, which can be extended up to 1,679 litres by folding the rear seats. 

It also gets a connected lightbar over the sport bootlid design, and additionally features a roof-mounted rear spoiler and a sporty bumper design.

On the inside, the K4 hatchback gets a premium-quality cabin with high-grade materials. 

The unique dashboard design features the trinity display, which has two 12.3-inch screens for the infotainment and speedometer, and a 5-inch screen for the HVAC controls.

Other feature highlights of the cabin are the wireless phone connectivity, wireless phone charging, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, a BOSE music system, dual-zone climate control, voice command assist, and more.

For passenger safety, the K4 hatchback comes loaded with a Level 2 ADAS safety suite, which has 29 different autonomous safety features.

2025 Kia K4 hatchback - Engine and specifications

Kia is offering two engine options with the K4 hatchback: a 2.0-litre petrol and a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol.

The 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol motor is matched with an IVT automatic gearbox. It generates 147 bhp and 179 Nm of power and torque.

However, for performance lovers, a 1.6-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine is on offer. It is mated to a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox and makes 190 bhp and 264 Nm of power and torque, respectively.

2025 Kia K4 hatchback - UAE launch time and price

As of now, Kia has launched the new K4 hatchback in the US market exclusively. However, the brand will launch it in the UAE car market by the second half of this year.

The expected price range for the Kia K4 hatchback in the UAE is AED 90,000 for the base variant.
