What is new on the 2026 Audi A6?

With the launch of the new-gen A6 range, Audi has revamped the luxury saga of the brand in the UAE. The new-gen models are loaded with a new chassis that is longer, sturdy, and lightweight.

In fact, the new A6 is the most aerodynamic car of the brand as it produces 0.23cd of drag coefficient.

Speaking of the design changes, the new A6 sedan and the A6 Avant now feature a restyled front fascia with a sleek profile, new LED lights, a new bumper, and big aero dams.

Due to the increased length and overall size, the new-gen A6 offers a distinctive side profile. It also comes loaded with the new flush door handles and new alloy wheels.

The rear design now gets split LED lights, a new boot, and a redesigned bumper outlook.

However, the A6 e-tron and the S6 e-tron variants are equipped with a sharp design, a closed grille, and an illuminated Audi logo at the rear. The e-tron versions are designed as per Audi’s EV portfolio.

Powering the A6 sedan and the A6 Avant are available with the 2.0-litre TFSI and the 3.0-litre TFSI engine options. 

The 2.0-litre TFSI engine offers 201 bhp/340 Nm, while the 3.0-litre inline-six TFSI offers 362 bhp/550 Nm of power and torque. Both engine options are mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.

Meanwhile, the e-tron variants are based on a new PPE (Premium Performance Electric) platform, which offers three Sportback variants and a sporty S6 e-tron version. 

Depending on the variant, the available power output ranges between 204 bhp and 503 bhp. Meanwhile, the maximum WLTP-claimed range is rated to 756km on a single charge, making it the longest range EV of the brand.

The new A6 sedan competes with the BMW 5 Series and the Mercedes E-Class in the UAE. Meanwhile, the A6 Avant competes with the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate, BMW 5 Series Touring, and Volvo V90.
