2026 Audi A6 design, interiors, and features
With the new-generation A6, Audi has taken a big step forward in terms of design and engineering. The new model gets a completely revised outlook and cabin.
Exterior changes
The new Audi A6 is based on a completely redesigned chassis and body. It now features a sleek, futuristic, and classy design.
At the front, it is equipped with sleek LED DRLs and Matrix LED lights, along with large aero dams for better aerodynamic stability.
Audi has maintained its iconic design language with the big honeycomb grille and the Audi logo on the front of the car.
The side profile follows the same sleek design with a sloping aerodynamic roof and shoulder lines. It does get the flush-type door handles and the multi-spoke alloy wheels, ranging from 18 inches to 21 inches in size.
The rear end, meanwhile, gets a revamped boot lid with new tri-LED lights and a connected LED lightbar on the boot.
With the new design, the A6 has grown to 4,990 mm in length. Moreover, it is also the most aerodynamic Audi ICE model in the history of the brand as it has a drag coefficient of 0.23 Cd.
The new A6 is available in 11 exterior colour options, including a one-year-specific Madeira Brown shade.

Interior changes
On the inside, Audi has equipped the new A6 with a completely new cabin layout. The dashboard design features a curved connected display for the driver.
It gets an 11.9-inch digital cockpit and a 14.5-inch infotainment console, both tilted towards the driver for an enthusiastic experience.
There is also a third digital screen for the front passenger to operate their entertainment and other features separately.
The new A6 also features a new four-spoke steering wheel, a new centre console, and redesigned seats with new door pads.

Engine, specifications, performance
Audi is offering three powertrain options for the new 2026 A6. The first one is a 2.0-litre TFSI turbo-petrol which makes 201 bhp and 340 Nm of power and torque, respectively.
For diesel buyers, a 2.0-litre TDI engine, which develops 201 bhp and 400 Nm, is being offered. Both of these engine options are mated to a 7-speed automatic DSG transmission.
There is also a 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol engine which makes 362 bhp and 550 Nm of power and torque, respectively. It is mated to a dual-clutch automatic transmission and gets the AWD Quattro system as standard.
Audi is also offering an optional air suspension system on the new 2026 A6. Additionally, it gets an all-wheel steering system, which can turn the rear wheels up to 5 degrees opposite to the front wheels for better manoeuvrability in the city.

Audi has announced the prices of the new A6 for the European market. However, the brand has plans to launch the new 2026 model across the globe in its prominent markets, including the UAE.
The current model starts from AED 189,630 in the UAE. With the new model, we expect the starting price for the A6 range to cross the AED 200,000 mark.
