The first and foremost talking point about the new M2 CS is its 3.0-litre, inline-six, twin-turbo engine. 

It develops 523 bhp of peak power, which is 50 bhp more than the standard M2, and 650 Nm of peak torque, which is an additional 49 Nm more than the regular M2.

However, unlike other BMW CS models like the M3, M4, and M5, the M2 CS is strictly a rear-wheel drive and gets a fully-automatic 8-speed gearbox only.
