Lexus has updated its stylish two-door sports car, the LC 500 and its convertible version in the global market. The new 2026 Lexus LC 500 and 500 Convertible models have been updated globally with new cosmetic and technical changes. Read all the details below.

What is new on the 2026 Lexus LC 500 Inspiration Series?

The hard-top LC 500 now features small, but effective changes with the addition of the Inspiration Series. Only 200 units of the LC 500 Inspiration Series will be available in the US market.

On the exterior, it now gets a new Smoke Matte Grey colour option with carbon fibre roof, a carbon fibre spoiler, 21-inch matte forged alloy wheels, front bumper canards, and red brake calipers.

Moreover, the bits like the headlamps, taillights, mirrors, and rocker garnishes are also painted in gloss black.

Inside, the new LC 500 Inspiration Series features a mix of black and white aniline leather upholstery. Additionally, the centre console gets a unique serial badge, which represents the serial number of the car.

The rest of the cabin design and features remain unchanged from the standard LC 500.

2026 Lexus LC 500 Convertible details

Along with the LC 500, its convertible version has also been updated with the Inspiration Series iteration. Limited to 350 units for the international market, the convertible version also gets a unique set of design and interior changes.

On the outside, it now gets the special Wind exterior colour, which is an elegant shade of silver, matched to a brown colour soft-top.

Meanwhile, the design bits like the mirrors, front grille, feature the piano black colour garnishing. It is also loaded with the new front bumper canards and the 21-inch forged alloy wheels.

On the inside, the Inspiration Series convertible LC 500 features Saddle Tan and White colour combo aniline leather upholstery. Moreover, it also gets the centre console serialised badging.

Lexus has also equipped the LC 500 Convertible with the Mark Levinson sound system and the Climate Concierge System, which automatically manages the AC, neck heaters, and the steering wheel heater temperature to provide optimum comfort.

2026 Lexus LC 500: Engine and performance

With the 2026 LC 500 launch, Lexus has discontinued the hybrid engine on the two-door sports car. 

The new model is available with a single 5.0-litre, V8 petrol engine, which develops 471 bhp of power and 535 Nm of torque.

Lexus has mated this front-engine to the rear wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission. 

The new LC 500 can sprint 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, while the top speed is up to 270 km/h.

Our verdict

The new 2026 Lexus LC 500 Inspiration Series is limited to a handful of units. Moreover, it will be sold only in the US market, thus phasing out UAE from the list. However, its design changes and the unique numbered console will offer a sense of exclusivity to customers.
