What is new on the 2026 Toyota Hiace facelift?
Â

Â
The updated Hiace van facelift has been revealed in Japan, as Toyota has scheduled its launch on February 2. While the overall design and dimensions of the Hiace facelift are unaltered, there is a lot to talk about the new changes.
Â
For starters, the Hiace now features a revised set of bi-LED projector headlights, which are paired with a new, elegant front grille and a new set of bumpers. Additionally, the alloy wheels have been revised with a new design for a modern outlook.
Â

Â
However, the biggest update is on the inside, which matters the most. The Hiace van now comes with the standard 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 7-inch digital console. Additionally, the top-spec trims get loaded with the ventilated and heated seats and a foldable footstep for the rear door.
Â

Â
Furthermore, Toyota has ensured that the Hiace remains worthy on the road, especially in the safety department. Hence, it now gets the Toyota Safety Sense, which is essentially an ADAS safety suite that offers safety features like the automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, front collision avoidance, lane change alert, blind spot alert, and more.
Â

Â
Apart from the above changes, Toyota continues to offer a variety of customisation options for the Hiace. Customers can opt for various interior themes, body kits, Modellista, and GR Sports parts.
Â
Powering the 2026 Hiace facelift are the same engine options as the previous version. Customers can choose from a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that offers 158 bhp and 182 Nm of power and torque. There is also a 2.8-litre diesel engine offering 149 bhp and 300 Nm of power and torque. Both engine options come paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and RWD or 4WD drivetrain options.
Â
UAE availability and price

Â
Toyota has no current plans to launch the Hiace facelift in the Middle East.
