2027 Honda City RS facelift: Everything to know about it

The new Honda City RS facelift is now available in Thailand in sedan and hatchback body styles. The ‘RS’ badge adds sporty cosmetic features to the recently launched City facelift.
Speaking of the changes, the front bumper has been designed with a sharp lower lip and a redesigned lower grille on the RS variant. Additionally, the presence of the RS badge on the grille further accentuates the segmented LED daytime running lights and the new Bi-LED headlamps.

The side profile on the City RS facelift packs black mirrors and black door handles. To match its sporty theme, the R16 alloy wheels have also been painted in gloss black. However, the overall stance and the design of the alloys remain similar to the standard model.
The rear profile gets a boot-integrated black spoiler and a sporty rear bumper. Meanwhile, the RS badge on the boot and the clear lens LED taillights add a refreshing appeal to the new sedan.

Honda has not added new bits to the interior of the City RS. However, it does offer the new features that include a 10-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless charging pad, a 360-degree camera, ambient lights, and more.
Powering the Thai-spec Honda City RS are two engine options. The first is a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, turbo petrol engine that makes 119 bhp and 173 Nm. It is paired with a CVT auto gearbox. Meanwhile, the e:HEV variant continues to offer the 1.5-litre engine that can deliver up to 125 bhp and 253 Nm, along with a fuel economy of 27.26 km/l.
When will the new Honda City launch in the UAE?
The latest Honda City facelift is expected to launch in the Middle East by the end of this year. As it packs cosmetic tweaks only, we suspect that its price will remain almost unchanged from the current model. Mind you, the current Honda City is priced at AED 67,900-75,900 in the UAE.
