Nissan has finally introduced its new mid-size SUV, called Tekton, which is essentially a rebadged version of the current Renault Duster SUV. The new 2027 Nissan Tekton was launched in India, and it is also set to be launched in the international market later this year or early next year.
2027 Nissan Tekton: Everything you should know
Exterior design

The exterior styling of the Tekton is based on the Renault Duster. However, Nissan has added its own styling cues to distinguish it from the Duster. These styling cues have been derived from the brand’s flagship SUV, which is the Nissan Patrol Y63.
Speaking of the key design highlights, the Tekton gets a more streamlined and urban outlook. At the front, it gets sleek LED headlights, a unique grille with red inserts inspired by the Nissan Patrol, connected LED lightbar and inverted-L-shaped daytime running lights, and a curvy front bumper with silver matte highlights that also boast LED fog lights.

The side profile of the Tekton is nearly identical to the Duster, save for the new R18 dual-tone alloy wheels. Nissan is offering the Tekton in 11 exterior colours, which include 6 mono-tone and 5 dual-tone colours. The rear profile gets a set of connected LED taillights, a muscular rear bumper with silver and red highlights, Tekton lettering on the boot, and a roof-integrated spoiler.
The Nissan Tekton measures 4,348 mm in length, 1,815 mm in width, and 1,674 mm in height. It gets a 2,657 mm wheelbase and 212 mm of ground clearance. The boot space offers up to 580 litres of luggage capacity.
Interior design and features

On the inside, the new Nissan Tekton gets a similar layout of the cabin as the Renault Duster. The only difference is the triple-tone theme that includes burgundy and ivory white colours on the seats, dashboard, and door panels.
Since Tekton is essentially a rebadged Renault Duster, it gets the same dashboard design, dual connected screens, seats, and overall interior design as the Duster. Noticeably, it does get a new steering wheel and new graphics for the digital dashboard and infotainment.
