Toyota recently introduced the new-generation Hilux pickup truck in the Japanese market. However, it did add a flavourful choice of GR and Modellista accessories for customers. While the Toyota Hilux GR Sport is yet to be revealed, check out the new GR Parts and Modellista accessories details below.

Toyota Hilux GR Parts accessories

The new-gen Hilux is now available with GR Parts, or Gazoo Racing Parts, in Japan. Mind you, Gazoo Racing is Toyota’s race division, which is responsible for making motorsport parts and tuning special vehicles. Hence, Hilux GR Parts focus on performance.

Hence, GR Parts accessories offer a rugged look to the Hilux in Japan with the addition of special updates. At the front, the Hilux GR gets a honeycomb grille, a redesigned bumper with scuff plate at the lower part, GR-branded mud flaps (available in Black or Red), aerodynamic visors, and dual stainless steel exhaust pipes.

The blacked-out trim parts contrast well with the GR Parts accessories. These include the black door handles, black door protectors, black side steps, and black visors.

On the performance front, the GR Parts also offer functional ‘ GR Performance Dampers’ that can alter the ride quality as per the requirements. Toyota claims that these dampers cut the vibrations on the inside, and these work in sync with the ‘Door Stabilisers’, which further improve the steering response.

Toyota Hilux Modellista accessories

On the other hand, the Modellista accessories focus on “urban ruggedness”, which is achieved by front and rear aluminium protection plates for the bumpers and the underbody, an LED lightbar with a rugged coating for improved night visibility, a bug deflector on the bonnet, and Matte Olive 18-inch off-road rims with all-terrain tyres.

The Modellista accessory pack also includes the door handle protectors, sun visors for all four windows, LED interior lights, and tinted windows.

When will the new Toyota Hilux launch in the UAE?

The new-generation Hilux is expected to arrive in the Middle East either by the end of this year or early next year. It will be available with the existing engine options, and there is a possibility of a BEV or pure electric version launch in the future.
