Next-gen Mitsubishi Pajero Sport: What to expect?
As seen in the latest spy shots, Mitsubishi is testing an unnamed SUV in Europe. It is rumoured that this is the upcoming Pajero Sport, which is scheduled to debut next year, possibly.
Visually, the new-generation model appears to be more boxy and grown in size, as compared to the current-generation model.
The heavily camouflaged test car has black alloy wheels, a big glass area, a horizontal slat big front grille, LED headlamps, and a tail design that looks similar to the new 2025 Nissan Patrol with the vertical LED taillights.
It is also being reported online that the new-generation Pajero Sport could be based on the Mitsubishi Triton or L200 pickup truck platform. However, contrary to this, a few online rumours also hint at a new monocoque chassis.
As far as the powertrains are concerned, we are assuming that the new-gen Pajero will get a petrol, diesel, and an EV version.
