What to expect from the 2028 Toyota Corolla Cross?
Toyota is working on a major overhaul of the Corolla Cross for the global market. The Japanese carmaker is reportedly working on the next generation of the Corolla Cross that is likely to be introduced in the global market by 2028.
Improved design, bigger size
Speaking of what could change, CarScoops has rendered the upcoming model based on the inputs available. The render images show that the new Corolla Cross could undergo a major design change.
Toyota has been following the new “hammer” design on its latest models, like the new Corolla sedan. A similar outlook is possibly going to be used on the next-gen Corolla Cross with the sleek connected LED lights.
The front fascia is likely to feature a streamlined bumper with an integrated grille and inverted L-shaped LED lights - a design trait that we saw recently on the new RAV4 Hybrid. Additionally, the reports hint that the next-gen Corolla Cross will grow in size, placing it closer to the RAV4 Hybrid.
In a similar fashion, the cabin will also undergo a massive upgrade. The RAV4 Hybrid and the new Land Cruiser Prado 250 have introduced the new interior styling, and a similar setup is likely to be used on the next-gen Corolla Cross.
