Range Rover Electric: Everything you need to know about

JRL, the parent company of Range Rover, has pushed the plans of introducing the Range Rover Electric to 2026. As per the company, the slow demand and adaptation for EVs globally has led to this decision.
The upcoming electric Range Rover is already under development, and the company has been testing it rigorously. Additionally, the officials claim that the prototype needs to undergo more extensive testing, so that it can withstand the off-road and luxury DNA of the brand.
It will be the second EV of JLR after the I-Pace, which was more like a third-party-made car. The electric Range Rover is being developed completely in-house, including the batteries.

Moreover, it will source the batteries from the upcoming Tata facility in the UK. This factory was earlier destined to become operational in 2026, but this timeline has now been pushed to 2027.
Meanwhile, the brand has also undertaken the interested customer applications for the electric Range Rover, which has crossed an exceptional demand of more than 62,000 units.
